New Delhi, Aug. 22 -- A six-year-old UKG student died at a private school after being allegedly slapped by his teacher for not completing homework. Andhra Pradesh minister Nara Lokesh vowed to take legal action against the school after a video of the incident went viral.

District education officer Prem Kumar told ANI, "...a severe and tragic incident occurred at the Little Garden School. A UKG student unexpectedly passed away due to physical assault by a teacher. Upon receiving information about the incident via a phone call from an individual, we immediately dispatched an ambulance to the scene."
