New Delhi, Aug. 6 -- Mahindra Group Chairperson Anand Mahindra on Wednesday reacted to Donald Trump's decision of imposing an additional 25 per cent tariffs on India, taking the total import duty on Indian goods to 50 per cent. The industrualists suggested steps to take in order to overcome the situation.
In a long post on X, Mahindra took example from countries like Canada and the European Union, which seem to have figured out strategies to navigate the 'tariff war' situation unleashed by the US.
"The 'law of unintended consequences' seems to be operating stealthily in the prevailing tariff war unleashed by the U.S.," Mahindra said.
