New Delhi, Aug. 19 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led Union government will introduce three bills in the Lok Sabha on Wednesday, 20 August, sparking yet another buzz about the 'restoration of statehood' to the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir.

The three Bills to be introduced by Union Home Minister Amit Shah seek to provide a legal framework for the removal of the Prime Minister or a Minister in the Union Council of Ministers and the Chief Minister or a Minister in the Council of States and Union Territories who is arrested or detained in custody on account of serious criminal charges.

The 'List of Government Business on August 20 and 21' in the Lok Sabha includes the introduction of the following Bills:
