New Delhi, Aug. 12 -- Amazon India announced on 11 August that it has invested more than Rs.37 crores in water replenishment projects across India. These projects are expected to restore over 3 billion litres of water annually, benefiting people in water-stressed communities.

The initiative spans across four major urban centres-Bengaluru, Hyderabad, New Delhi, and Mumbai-and supports Amazon's goal to return more water to communities than it uses in its direct operations in India by 2027, the company said.
