New Delhi, Aug. 22 -- Rising memory and storage costs are beginning to affect even smaller consumer gadgets, with Amazon increasing the prices of several Echo, Kindle, Fire TV and Eero products.

The company has attributed the price rises to higher costs of memory and storage components, according to Fortune. The increases come after a broader rise in prices for products such as smartphones, laptops, gaming consoles and cameras.

Some Amazon devices have become significantly more expensive. The Echo Dot, which was previously priced at $49.99, now costs $79.99 - a 60% increase.

The price of Amazon's Fire TV Stick 4K Max has also risen sharply, from $59.99 to $84.99. The Fire TV Stick HD now costs $39.99, up from $34.99.
