New Delhi, May 4 -- When Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) chief Vijay's father SA Chandrasekhar visited temple this morning ahead of his son's result in the Tamil Nadu Election 2026, he could hardly have imagined that a few hours later, he would be talking to press about the possible next Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.

In a dramatic turn in the Tamil Nadu Election Result 2026, the TVK, in its debut election, has formed a massive lead on 105 Assembly constituencies, placing it on course to form the government with some help from smaller parties. Even though it is a few seats short of crossing the majority mark of 118, maintaining a lead on 103 is something nobody would have imagined.
