New Delhi, May 18 -- The US President Donald Trump and his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping have agreed on building a constructive relationship to boost trade and strategic ties between the two countries.

The decision has come during Donald Trump's visit to China - the first for a US President since 2017. In a press release, the White House said that Trump will welcome Xi for a visit to Washington this fall.

The two countries will set up the US-China Board of Trade to manage bilateral trade across non-sensitive goods. Trump also negotiated a package of commitments that will drive "high-paying American jobs" and open new markets for US goods.
