New Delhi, Oct. 10 -- Multiple people were reported dead or missing after a massive explosion rocked a US explosives factory Friday, sending emergency responders rushing to the site in Tennessee and prompting official warnings for the public to avoid the area, authorities said.

The explosion, which as per AP, rattled homes miles away, occurred at the facility of Accurate Energetic Systems in the Bucksnort area near the Hickman County/Humphreys County line.

Emergency responders could not go in because there continue to be explosions, Hickman County Advanced EMT David Stewart told The Associated Press by telephone.
