New Delhi, Aug. 21 -- Former Australian batter Michael Hussey has hinted that he would be open to joining the England Test team as a batting coach.

Hussey's comments come less than a month after former New Zealand captain Stephen Fleming was named the England Test team's head coach.

Michael Hussey and Fleming have worked together for several years with Chennai Super Kings (CSK). The duo were both part of CSK's IPL squad in 2008, when they lost to Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the final.

Fleming then took over as CSK head coach in 2009, a post he maintained until 2026, barring 2016 and 2017 when the franchise was banned. Hussey played for the Yellow Brigade from 2008 to 2013, before joining Mumbai Indians (MI) for the IPL 2014 season. He ret...
