New Delhi, Oct. 30 -- US President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping held crucial talks on Thursday in Busan, South Korea, aiming to ease trade tensions between the world's two largest economies. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit and lasted less than two hours.
After the key meeting, President Trump boarded Air Force One, while President Xi left in his motorcade.
Xi and Trump exchanged initial remarks before the talks began. The rest of the meeting was closed to the media. According to NBC News, Trump had earlier suggested the meeting could last up to four hours.
