India, April 25 -- The Indian Youth Congress on Friday launched its 'Behtar Delhi' campaign, aiming to highlight pressing urban challenges such as pollution, waste management and water scarcity in the national capital. The initiative, unveiled at a press conference, is intended to evolve into a nationwide movement focused on bringing urban issues to the centre of political discourse. Launching the campaign, Ajay Maken said it seeks to address the everyday difficulties faced by city residents, noting that such concerns often receive inadequate political attention. He described the effort as a "comprehensive mass movement" that will involve direct engagement with citizens to gather feedback and develop practical solutions.
