Kolkata, Aug. 25 -- Yatri Sathi's AC shuttle service has expanded from two routes at launch to 12 within a month, with seven currently operational and five more scheduled to be added this week. Weekly and monthly passes are also set to be introduced next week.
The service currently operates on seven routes connecting Barrackpore, Barasat, Serampore, Naihati and Bally with Sector V, and Sonarpur and Tikiapara with New Town.
The five routes scheduled to start this week will connect Hanskhali, Santragachi, Bijaygarh, Jadavpur and Baruipur with New Town. The operator plans to take the network to 15 routes by the end of August. Daily trips will increase from the current 35 to 50 by the end of the month and are planned to reach 150 by the end of September.
The target is to reach at least 300 daily trips by December, with the operator considering increasing the number to 400 depending on demand.
