Gurugram, Oct. 12 -- A 24-year-old woman hit by an allegedly speeding car died and her friend got injured while they were crossing the road in front of the Honda showroom in Manesar, police said on Monday.
The car driver was booked at Manesar Police Station at the complaint of the injured woman, Anuradha, an Uttarakhand native.
She and the deceased, Pooja Bisht, both worked at Fresh OK store in Gurugram.
Pooja and Anuradha were crossing the Delhi-Jaipur highway when a speeding WagonR hit them. Pooja died, while Anuradha was discharged after first aid. Police registered an FIR and are tracing the absconding
driver.
