Counselling for Arabic, Psychology, Sociology and Urdu is scheduled to be held on April 20 at the Commission's second office. Intimation letters have already been uploaded for eligible candidates, while the combined merit list for Phase I (Part III) was published on April 16.
Phase I of the counselling process began on February 24-25 with Part I, covering seven subjects including anthropology, home science, music, Santali, accountancy, agronomy and physical education. A total of 182 candidates were issued recommendation letters against 500 vacancies in this phase.
Part II commenced on March 24 with statistics and computer application, and covered 10 subjects, including nutrition, Hindi, commerce, home management and home nursing, political science, history, geography and mathematics. Around 3,500 candidates were issued recommendation letters during this phase, an official said, attributing the higher number to the inclusion of larger subjects.
The official indicated that around 150 recommendations are expected to be issued in the current round, covering four subjects.
Clarifying the process, the official said counselling for around 12 subjects still remains under Phase I. "Even after this round, counselling for around 12 subjects remains which will come under the first phase," the official said, adding that the process is being conducted based on the availability of vacancies.
