Greater Noida, Sept. 20 -- With the fourth edition of the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS) 2026 scheduled at the India Expo Centre & Mart in Greater Noida from September 25 to 29, the Gautam Buddh Nagar district administration on Sunday reviewed preparations to manage an expected footfall of around five lakh visitors.
Officials said departments, including the Greater Noida Authority and traffic police, were coordinating to ensure smooth movement of visitors and exhibitors while minimising inconvenience to local residents. Representatives of industry and trade associations and residents also attended the meeting.
"The UPITS 2026 is likely to welcome around five lakh visitors from its B2B and B2C segments. We are taking required steps for a successful event. This time, besides One District, One Product (ODOP), One District, One Cuisine (ODOC) will also get huge traction," said Manglesh Dubey, additional district magistrate, Gautam Buddh Nagar.
The district will showcase cake, pastry and bakery products under the ODOC initiative.
The trade show will have dedicated halls for different sectors. Hall 1 will feature Invest UP and UPEIDA, while Hall 3 will showcase UPSIDA, Noida International Airport and YEIDA. Hall 4 will highlight Uttar Pradesh's industrial and development potential, and Hall 5 will focus on IT and electronics. Hall 6 will feature departments including irrigation, social welfare, urban development, food and drug administration, energy and renewable energy.
Hall 17 will house the ODOP open space, GNIDA stakeholders, CREDAI, transport, exporters and logistics providers, along with entrepreneurs from textile, handloom, sports and agriculture-based industries. The show will have participants from Russia, Austria, Japan, Singapore and Vietnam, with foreign buyer registrations received from several countries. The UPITS mobile app will facilitate business matching and advance B2B meetings.
Parking arrangements will be made at NASA ground in Knowledge Park. Last year, the event recorded 5.07 lakh visitors.
