Kolkata, June 8 -- The Trinamool Congress (TMC) on Monday moved the Calcutta High Court challenging the Speaker's decision to recognise Ritabrata Banerjee as Leader of Opposition instead of the party's official nominee, Sobhandeb Chattopadhyay. The court agreed to hear the matter on June 11, amid a deepening rift within the TMC legislature party ahead of the Assembly session.
