India, Aug. 15 -- The Delhi Police's Special Cell has arrested three alleged shooters linked to the Tillu Tajpuriya-Kaushal Chaudhary-Gurvinder Baba gang, police said. The accused were identified as Hemant alias Monu, 33, Nayan Aggarwal, 25, and Durgesh Rai alias Devil, 22. Police recovered two semi-automatic pistols and live ammunition from them. Hemant and Nayan were arrested on August 2 after being tracked for over 10 days. Police said they had allegedly procured weapons from Zirakpur in May on Gurvinder's instructions and were planning to fire at two salons in Chandigarh to extort money. Durgesh was arrested on August 8 for allegedly firing at a house in Karnal, Haryana, at Gurvinder's direction. No one was injured. Police said further investigation is underway to identify other gang members.
