Manila, July 26 -- Delhi Police have solved the murder of a cab driver in Krishna Nagar, arresting two men and apprehending a juvenile, while a fourth accused remains absconding. Police said Vijay Kumar (40), a resident of West Vinod Nagar, was found with multiple stab wounds inside his cab on July 23 and was declared dead at Dr Hedgewar Hospital. Investigation revealed that the four accused allegedly consumed liquor before planning to rob a cab driver. Aman allegedly procured a knife and booked a Rapido cab using Ayan's mobile phone. The group allegedly stabbed Kumar near Chitra Vihar crossing, placed him in the back seat and fled with the vehicle, later abandoning it near East Azad Nagar Metro Station after being chased by the public. Police identified the accused through CCTV footage, call records and technical evidence. Ayan (20), Sahil (19) and a juvenile were apprehended, while Aman remains at large. The murder weapon, blood-stained car, clothes and mobile phones were recovered. Further investigation is underway.
