India, May 31 -- A year after 'Zariyaa', director Suman Maitra is back with its sequel. Titled 'Zariyaa 2', the Bengali film stars Rajeshwar and Sreema Bhattacharjee and has been extensively shot in Darjeeling and other parts of North Bengal. Seven years after parting ways, former lovers Rishav (Rajeshwar) and Shreyasini (Shreema) unexpectedly reunite in Darjeeling. Over two unforgettable days, they revisit the memories, emotions, misunderstandings and circumstances that once separated them. Maitra said returning to the sets of 'Zariyaa 2' was enriching and exciting. "'Zaariya 2' is a heartfelt tale of love, loss, friendship and the memories that never fade. Rajeshwar and Shreema have performed so well. Also, the film has been shot in picturesque locations," he said. Produced by Animesh Ganguly, the film will hit theatres soon.
