Kolkata, July 27 -- The Bengal government on Monday issued transfer orders for 99 block development officers (BDOs) across the state.
The transferred BDOs have also been allotted their present posting through an order issued from the state Personnel and Administrative Reforms department.
Interestingly, 48 of the WBCS officers transferred are of 2025 batch and 20 officers are of 2023 batch.
The officers concerned have been requested to join their new assignment immediately, failing which they shall be deemed to have been released from their present posts with effect
from July 31.
