India, April 16 -- Delhi Assembly Speaker Vijender Gupta on Wednesday wrote a letter to Police Commissioner Satish Golcha, requesting him to take with "utmost seriousness" repeated bomb threats received by the legislative body over the past few weeks. The Delhi Assembly received a threat e-mail on Tuesday, sixth since the Budget Session in March, warning of five RDX bombs. Drawing his attention, the speaker wrote to the commissioner that the latest threat e-mail was directly addressed to him by name. "This is a matter of grave concern and must be taken with utmost seriousness," he said. Last week also, the speaker wrote to the police commissioner requesting him a prompt investigation into the threats, and sought enhanced security of the assembly premises. mpost
