Kolkata, Sept. 2 -- An Army aspirant has moved the Calcutta High Court after an alleged delay in issuing his domicile certificate, which he says is preventing him from taking the next step in the recruitment process.
The petitioner claims he cleared the first phase of the Indian Army's recruitment process and was required to travel to Odisha for the subsequent stage.
However, he says his candidature has effectively been stalled as the West Bengal authorities have not issued the domicile certificate required for him to proceed.
