India, Aug. 27 -- Delhi received light rain on Wednesday, a day after the national capital witnessed heavy showers that led to widespread waterlogging and traffic disruptions, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). The city did not face major traffic disruptions on Wednesday as several establishments observed a public holiday and the rain was not widespread or heavy. The weather department issued a yellow alert for the evening and night, forecasting thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and light-to-moderate rainfall.
