Kolkata, Aug. 28 -- The Baba Saheb Ambedkar Education University (BSAEU) has given private B.Ed colleges 21 days to rectify deficiencies found during surprise inspections. Their admission approval for the current academic year will be decided after their responses and corrective measures are reviewed.
According to sources, 203 colleges received poor scores, around 250 were placed in the medium category and around 150 were found to have satisfactory infrastructure and other requirements.
The university will seek explanations from the colleges about the deficiencies identified during the inspections. The colleges will have 21 days to respond and take corrective measures. Their responses and the extent to which the deficiencies have been rectified will be considered before admission approval is granted.
