New Delhi, May 16 -- Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID) has announced financial results for period ended Q4FY26 and FY26.

For FY26, on Standalone basis, the Company posted Profit After Tax (PAT) and Total Income of Rs 15,921 crore and Rs 46,996 crore respectively. On consolidated basis, PAT and Total Income were at Rs 15,928 crore and Rs 47,684 crore respectively.

For Q4FY26, on standalone basis, company has reported a PAT of Rs 4,553 crore and Total Income of Rs 11,955 crore. On Consolidated basis, the Company has reported PAT of Rs 4,546 crore and Total Income of Rs 11,971 crore.

The Company has proposed a final dividend of Rs 1.25 per share on a face value of Rs 10/- each (12.50 per cent of the paid-up share capital) in addition to interim dividend of Rs 7.75/- per share paid for FY26 so far. The total dividend for the year thus amounts to Rs 9 per share.

At the end of FY26, the total transmission assets of POWERGRID and its subsidiaries stood at 1,84,960 ckm of transmission lines, 291 substations and 6,24,016 MVA of transformation capacity. POWERGRID maintained average transmission system availability of 99.84% during FY26.

During the year, the POWERGRID Board accorded approval for the merger/amalgamation of 28 wholly owned subsidiaries into 2 existing subsidiary companies.

This is in addition to the already completed amalgamation of 19 wholly owned subsidiaries into 2 other existing subsidiary companies. The streamlined SPV structure is aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, management oversight and governance.
