India, July 22 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday asked NDA MPs to dedicate themselves to the welfare of the nation and highlight the achievements of the government. Speaking to reporters after the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) meeting, BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh said Modi stressed that the nation must always come first and called upon MPs to work for its progress and prosperity. "The Prime Minister asked all NDA MPs to dedicate every moment of their lives to the welfare of the nation. The nation comes first, and we must work for its progress and prosperity," Chugh told reporters in Parliament House complex.
He said Modi also spoke about India's growing global stature, asserting that the country's youth are making their mark worldwide. "Today, the entire world is hearing the voice of India's youth. India is progressing faster than ever. Whether it is our economy, our defence policy, or our welfare schemes, the whole world is appreciating them. Agreements signed with countries across the world will take India further on the path of development," Chugh quoted the prime minister as saying. Chugh added that under the prime minister's leadership, NDA workers are working with the resolve of building a "Viksit Bharat".
