"Delhi Police must either close it completely or keep it open," said Shashank, a 32-year-old IT professional. "I am stuck in this traffic jam for the last 45 minutes."

Another commuter, 45-year-old, expressed his frustration with the police for not lifting the restrictions. "Delhi Police is scared now, that's why they did not open the road completely," he said, mocking the police arrangements.

Meanwhile, the traffic congestion has also made commuters nostalgic about working from home as some said they would have preferred being stuck in their homes as they lamented on long hours spent in traffic jams. "We were okay working from home. At least we can avoid getting stuck in traffic jams," said a 35-year-old commuter.

Delhi Police's decision to only partially unseal the road has added to the misery of the commuters who were already grappling with severe traffic congestion incentral Delhi.

Office-goers, as well as other commuters, have been frustrated being stuck in heavy traffic, with two-wheelers also complaining about the unfriendly heat.
