NEW DELHI, July 5 -- A 28-year-old newlywed, Akriti, died after allegedly falling from the third floor of NDMC Flats in Delhi's Lodhi Colony on Saturday. Police said she was taken to AIIMS, where she was declared dead. Married on April 24, she worked as a sales executive in Chhatarpur. As the death occurred within seven years of marriage, an SDM inquest has begun. Her family alleged dowry harassment, physical abuse and murder, while police said the inquiry and witness statements are underway.
