New Delhi, Oct. 8 -- A delegation from Mozambique, led by Transport and Logistics Minister João Jorge Matlombe, visited the Delhi Metro on Thursday to learn about its training, capacity-building and operational systems.

It was received at the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) Academy by Managing Director Vikas Kumar and DMIL CEO Sanjay Jamuar, who briefed the visitors on training.

The delegation toured the Academy's facilities, including the Extended Reality (XR) Lab, Metro Signalling Model Room, Bogie Brakes Pneumatic Simulator and RS-2 Driving Simulator. It viewed documentaries on the DMRC and DMIL.

The delegation later visited the Delhi Metro Museum at Supreme Court Metro Station, where it was briefed on the network's evolution. The visit provided insights into Delhi Metro's training and simulation systems. mpost
