Kolkata, Nov. 6 -- Merlin Group celebrated the eighth edition of Merlin Shera Puja 2026, bringing together 23 residential associations this year. Since its inception in 2019, the initiative has grown steadily, strengthening community bonds through the spirit of Durga Puja.
Popular Tollywood celebrities Aparajita Adhya, Darshana Banik, Rishav Basu and Shreema Bhattacharjee formed the jury and visited 23 Merlin residential complexes across Kolkata, Howrah and Hooghly. The celebrities, along with employees of Merlin Group, mingled with the residents and celebrated the spirit of Durga Puja through various fun-filled activities, including 'dhunuchi' dance performances by the residents.
The grand award night, hosted by popular RJ Koushik Bhattacharya, featured performances by TC the Mentalist and Bengali folk band Chirkut. Merlin Waterfront won the coveted Shera Shiromoni title, while Merlin Maximus and Merlin Urban received Shera Gourab (first Runner-Up) honours. Merlin Crest and Merlin Elements were awarded Shera Sanman (second Runner-Up).
