
New Delhi, April 2 -- Delhi Lieutenant Governor Taranjit Singh Sandhu on Thursday felicitated 21 Traffic Praharis for their role in enforcing road discipline, and honoured citizens who reported violations through the Traffic Prahari app under an incentive scheme.
During his visit to the Traffic Headquarters in Todapur, the LG flagged off 38 scooters for women traffic personnel to enhance mobility and response in congested areas. Two disaster response vehicles equipped for road emergencies were also deployed. Sandhu reviewed traffic operations, including enforcement and public
interface systems.
