Kolkata, Sept. 11 -- , The first meeting of the 32nd Kolkata International Film Festival (KIFF) was held on Friday at Nandan, where the preparations and organisational framework for the forthcoming edition of the festival were discussed. The 32nd KIFF will be organised from December 16 to 23, as previously announced by Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari on August 13 at Nandan.
The meeting was attended by Mithun Chakraborty, Chief Advisor, KIFF; ministers Agnimitra Paul, Purnima Chakraborty and Tollywood celebs including Prosenjit Chatterjee, Chairman, KIFF, Jeet, Sekha Das, Padmanabha Dasgupta, June Malia, Anjana Basu, Churni Ganguly and others. The meeting also saw the participation of BJP MLAs like Rudranil Ghosh, Papiya Adhikari, Hiran Chatterjee, Roopa Ganguly and Sarbari Mukherjee. Dr Saumitra Mohan, Secretary, Information & Cultural Affairs Department, was also present.
