India, July 2 -- Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has issued the registration schedule for the Monsoon Semester 2026, with the process set to take place from July 6 to 13. According to the Office of the Controller of Examinations, students must complete physical registration and deposit the prescribed fee at the time of registration. The University has permitted the add-and-drop of courses until July 31 and advised students to verify their academic portfolio before attending classes, after which no changes will be allowed. Students unable to register within the stipulated period may do so later by paying a daily late fee in the case of Indian students, while international students will be charged a percentage of their tuition fee depending on the delay. Students have also been directed to clear all pending tuition, hostel and mess dues and obtain no-dues certificates before registration. JNU has further made the Academic Bank of Credit (ABC)/APAAR ID mandatory for students admitted from the 2021-22 academic session onwards.
