
Kolkata, Oct. 6 -- Jadavpur University on Tuesday dissolved its "Approving & Monitoring for Programme Committee", a day after a convention featuring AISA national president Neha Bora was held on the campus amid a dispute over permission for the event.
According to a university circular, the committee constituted on March 24 has been
dissolved and all activities related to it will be handled by the Registrar until further orders.
The committee was responsible for considering applications for programmes and monitoring their approval.
Its terms of reference required applications to be submitted at least seven days before a programme and forwarded through the prescribed channel.
