New Delhi,, Sept. 22 -- A JNU student alleged that she was molested by two outsiders on campus Monday night.
The student, returning to her hostel from Sabarmati Dhaba, was allegedly approached by two men in a car near Tapti Hostel, who offered her a drink and allegedly molested her. She informed a guard, following which a commotion broke out. JNU Students' Union office-bearers reached spot. Police arrived after being informed by the university.
Police said no complaint had been filed, though preventive action was taken. Students demanded security, including guards and better lighting. mpost
