The DA shall be applicable for teaching and non-teaching employees of Government aided educational institutions, employees of statutory bodies, government undertakings, panchayats, including Panchayat karmee, municipal corporations / municipalities, local bodies etc.

For employees or pensioners still under the old pay structure, the rates of DA and DR have been raised from 171% to 223%. There will be a further ad-hoc increase in the daily rate of wages by Rs 110 with effect from October 1 for the daily-rated workers under the government whose wages are not regulated by any statutory provisions.

Government-acquired undertakings and statutory bodies must meet this additional expenditure from their own funds. Nabanna will not provide separate financial assistance for this purpose.
