India, Aug. 20 -- Two sharpshooters allegedly linked to the Kapil Sangwan alias Nandu and Bambiha gang have been arrested by the Delhi Police Crime Branch in connection with firing incidents in Delhi and Punjab, allegedly carried out on the orders of Canada-based gangster Devinder Singh alias Gopi Lahoria. The accused were identified as Harshdeep Singh alias Billa, 22, of Nangal village in Ludhiana, Punjab, and Harmanjit Singh, 23, of Tangra village in Amritsar, Punjab. Police arrested them following a tip-off. The duo were wanted in connection with two firing incidents - at the residence of Umed Singh in Deenpur, Najafgarh, on August 16 and at a pizza joint in Ludhiana on August 17. According to police, the accused arrived in Delhi on August 14 and stayed in Dwarka Mor. They were allegedly instructed to kill a person and purchased two semi-automatic pistols and 19 rounds of ammunition from East Delhi on August 15. They fled the target's home after seeing women and children, later fired at a Ludhiana pizza joint, and were arrested after returning to Delhi.
