India, Aug. 5 -- The Lifetime Membership registration for the DDA's Dwarka Golf Course, opened on the directions of Delhi Lieutenant Governor Sardar Taranjit Singh Sandhu, has received an overwhelming response, with 856 applications received against 850 memberships within just 11 days of the registration process. The Non Government Category, receiving 636 applications against 600 memberships, while the Government Category has received 220 applications against 250 memberships. With the registration window open for two months from July 21, 2026, both categories are likely to be oversubscribed by the close of the registration period. Applicants can also opt for three year and five year memberships. The registration fee is 2,500 and is non-refundable. Following scrutiny, successful applicants will have to deposit the applicable membership fee online within 30 days of receiving the offer. Where eligible applications exceed available memberships, allotment will be through a fully computerised draw of lots after the registration period closes. Applicants have been advised to submit only one application, as multiple applications may lead to rejection. Three year memberships cost Rs 2.50 lakh and Rs 1.20 lakh respectively, while five-year memberships are priced at Rs 4.50 lakh and Rs 1.80 lakh. Inaugurated in 2024, the 18 hole championship course spans 158 acres in Sector 24, Dwarka, across 7,377 yards. It has a 375 yard driving range with 52 bays, clubhouse, restaurant, swimming pool, sauna and steam facilities, among other amenities. A Golf Academy is also being established as a Centre of Excellence. DDA currently has 18 Sports Complexes, four Mini Sports Complexes and three Public Golf Courses across Delhi.
