New Delhi, Aug. 30 -- The elections to the Executive Committee of the Delhi Soccer Association (DSA) for the term commencing in 2026 were conducted in accordance with the DSA Constitution and Schedule III - Election Bye-Laws.
The election programme commenced on August 10, 2026, with the election scheduled for August 30, 2026. The conduct and supervision of the election process was entrusted to Justice S. P. Garg (Retd.), former Judge, Delhi High Court, as Electoral Officer.
Following scrutiny of nominations and completion of the withdrawal process, the final list of contesting candidates (Form 6) was published on August 28, 2026. As no post/category required a contested poll, voting by secret ballot was not necessary.
Susanta Deb was elected president, Dr. Mohd Maroof Khan was elected vice-president, and Liaqat Ali was elected treasurer, all unopposed.
The following eight candidates were returned as Executive Committee Members without a poll:
Mrinal Dhar, Vinod Kumar, Ankita Kaur Dhupia, Prof. Abha Jain, Syed Jamal Nasir, Neetu Kakar, Mohd. Naeem and Karan Malhotra.
The electoral process was completed in accordance with the applicable election procedures, and the election records shall be preserved as prescribed under the DSA Election Bye-Laws.
The Electoral Officer appreciated the cooperation of the DSA Secretariat, Member Clubs, voters, candidates and all others associated with the election process.
