New Delhi, Sept. 16 -- The Delhi Jal Board (DJB) on Wednesday concluded its two-day Jal Manthan 2026 conclave, with experts and officials discussing measures to strengthen Delhi's water security and accelerate the rejuvenation of the Yamuna. The September 15-16 conclave brought together water experts, technology specialists, utility practitioners, administrators and representatives of multilateral organisations from India and abroad.
The discussions centred on six themes, 24x7 quality water supply, circular water economy, future-ready workforce, Digital DJB, financial sustainability and Yamuna rejuvenation.
Experts stressed the need for an integrated approach covering water supply, sewage collection and treatment, wastewater reuse, drain management and pollution control.
