India, July 13 -- Delhi Police have arrested the fourth and final accused in the murder of a young man following a violent clash over changing songs at a cafe in Shahbad Daulatpur. Police were alerted to the incident through a PCR call received at Shahbad Dairy Police Station. The latest arrest is Amit Kumar alias Baba (18), a resident of Mangolpuri. The case has been registered under relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita at Shahbad Dairy Police Station. Police said a knife allegedly used in the murder has also been recovered during the investigation. The incident occurred during the intervening night of June 17 and 18, when Kali Charan alias Sunny and his friends were at a cafe in Shahbad Daulatpur. After allegedly threatening the victims, the group left the cafe but returned shortly afterwards with more associates armed with knives. The assailants allegedly entered the room where the victims were having food and attacked Kali Charan and one of his friends, inflicting multiple stab injuries to their heads, hands, waist and abdomen before fleeing the spot. Both injured men were rushed to BSA Hospital, where Kali Charan later succumbed to his injuries. Police said a special investigation team examined eyewitness accounts, analysed technical evidence, gathered local intelligence and conducted multiple raids. Two accused were initially arrested with the assistance of the Crime Branch, while the remaining two, including the final suspect, were apprehended by the local police team. Further investigation is underway to recover additional evidence and strengthen the prosecution's case.
