India, July 29 -- The Delhi Cabinet on Tuesday approved the schedule for the Monsoon Session of the Delhi Legislative Assembly, which will be held from August 7 to August 11. The decision was taken during a Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Rekha Gupta at the Delhi Secretariat. Announcing the decision, the CMO said the five-day session would focus on key issues concerning Delhi's development and public welfare. According to the government, discussions during the session will cover matters of public importance, with the aim of taking decisions that serve the interests of the people. CM said the Assembly would witness "serious and meaningful discussions" on issues related to the city's development and welfare schemes. She reiterated that the government remains committed to placing public interest at the centre of its decision-making process and ensuring effective implementation of policies.
