New Delhi, May 13 -- The Delhi Development Authority is steadily transforming its sports infrastructure into accessible community spaces, with the DDA Squash and Badminton Stadium near Kamla Nehru College emerging as a major recreational and fitness hub in South Delhi.

Located in New Delhi's Siri Fort sports complex area, the stadium offers a wide range of facilities catering to both professional athletes and fitness enthusiasts under its "Pay and Play" model. The complex houses 26 badminton courts, of which 18 are dedicated to public play while eight are reserved for coaching academies. The venue also features 11 squash courts, including an all-glass squash court for professional matches and practice sessions. Six courts are available for pay-and-play users, while four are allotted for coaching programmes.

Table tennis facilities have also drawn regular visitors, with five tables operational inside the stadium. Two tables are accessible under the pay-and-play facility, while the remaining are used for coaching activities.

Apart from racket sports, the complex includes a multi-gym, an indoor MMA training arena, and dedicated indoor spaces for yoga and fitness sessions. A walking track around the venue remains open for joggers and walkers every Monday.

Operating from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. during summers and till 8.30 p.m. in winters, the stadium reflects DDA's growing focus on promoting affordable sports culture and public fitness infrastructure across the Capital.
