India, Aug. 12 -- Delhi Police has banned kite flying and the use of other aerial objects near the Red Fort and Independence Day event venues in the Central district as part of heightened security measures. The order, issued under Section 163 of the BNSS, remains effective till August 16. Police said the restriction aims to prevent potential threats and ensure public safety, law and order. Violations will attract action under Section 223 of the BNS.
