New Delhi, Nov. 7 -- Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Saturday greeted people on Diwali, saying her government is committed to transforming Delhi into a developed capital boasting modern facilities, robust infrastructure, and a higher standard of living for its citizens.
Gupta said Delhi is her family, and ensuring a better life, a secure future, and dignity for every member of this family is her government's top priority.
"We are continuously moving forward towards building a Viksit Delhi. Our endeavour is to ensure that the benefits of development reach the last person in society, making Delhi a leading capital of the country equipped with modern amenities, a clean environment, better infrastructure, and economic opportunities," Gupta said. Metro expansion plans are being actively advanced to strengthen Delhi's public transport.
