Exploring More Employment Opportunities

Recently, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami held a meeting with Mayank Joshi, High Commissioner of India to Jamaica; Devesh Uttam, Ambassador of India to Ethiopia; and Alok Ranjan Jha, High Commissioner of India to Zambia, during their visit to Uttarakhand.

The discussions focused particularly on employment opportunities in the three countries and their demand for skilled human resources. Following the Chief Minister's directions, young people will now be trained in accordance with the specific workforce requirements of these countries.

The Chief Minister's Skill Upgradation and Global Employment Scheme has delivered encouraging results. In view of its success, the number of foreign language training centres has been increased. Young people are being equipped with the skills and training required to meet global demand. Officials have been directed to prepare a comprehensive action plan in this regard.
