New Delhi, Oct. 17 -- Kolkata Police arrested 65 people and prosecuted 410 individuals for traffic violations on Sashthi on Friday. Police also seized 85 vehicles and 2.4 litres of liquor across the city. Of the 410 individuals prosecuted, 189 were charged with triple-riding on two-wheelers, 65 with rash driving and 61 with driving under the influence of alcohol. Another 95 individuals were prosecuted for other traffic violations. Traffic violations surpassed Panchami's 334 cases, with 28 arrests.
