Mumbai, Sept. 21 -- The CISF on Monday took over security of three Enforcement Directorate (ED) offices in Mumbai, deploying 45 personnel as part of its expanded security cover for the agency's offices across the country.
The force currently provides security to 20 ED offices in 20 cities under its internal security duty pattern. The security deployment at the three Mumbai offices began under Senior Commandant Dhiraj Kumar Singh, CISF Mumbai Police Area. An inauguration was held at the ED office in Ceejay House, Worli, attended by senior officials of the ED and CISF.
The deployed personnel have been directed to maintain high vigilance and provide security to ED staff while assisting visitors to the offices.
