
New Delhi, July 27 -- India's homegrown billion-dollar fruit-based drink, Maaza celebrates 50 years of its journey in country. Anandana - The Coca-Cola India Foundation, honoured the mango farmers behind the brand's legacy through its flagship agriculture initiative, Project Unnati which supports mango farmers with modern cultivation practices to improve productivity, fruit quality and efficient water use.
Marking National Mango Day, the event included the release of a 'Special Cover' in collaboration with Department of Posts. Chirag Paswan, Union Minister of Food Processing Industries along with Col. Akhilesh Kumar Pandey, Chief Postmaster General, Delhi Circle, Department of Posts, Ministry of Communications released the Special Cover.
Farmers from various parts of country were felicitated in the presence of Coca-Cola India leadership, bottling partners, implementation partner CENDECT and mango supplier Foods & Inns Ltd.
