Kolkata, Oct. 5 -- West Bengal's much-awaited new industrial policy is taking shape, but the final announcement will come only after the Puja, Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari said on Monday.

The Group of Ministers (GoM) has submitted its report, following which the chief secretary is working on the draft and incorporating recommendations to fine-tune the policy.

The new government's land policy will also form part of the industrial policy, with the government set to clear land for projects based on the scale of investment and the number of jobs they are expected to create, sources said. CM Suvendu Adhikari had said that there would be a single window for industries investing over RS 100 crore, so the investors don't have to face any problem.

The Chief Minister would be going to Haldia to flag off the expansion programme of Haldia Petrochemicals on October 14. Adhikari said Rs 6000 crore is being invested and soon another foundation stone laying of a factory of the Reliance group would be held in the state.

He said he would interact with Puja committees on October 26, where the various popular food items of different districts would be showcased.
